Talking about his education, he graduated from Vanier College. He used to play football for the college team. Andrew received a full scholarship to play volleyball for Boston College. After his commitment to Boston, he returned home to spring camp at Vanier and unfortunately tore his anterior cruciate ligament during a routine drill which effectively ended his football career.

Andrew started his acting career from Montreal. His first role was a recurring lead on the series ‘Student Bodies‘ in 1996-1997, a lead on ‘Back to Sherwood’ and then ‘Radio Active’ in 1998-2000. Additionally, a month after entering Hollywood, he then got a series lead on the TV show, ‘Maybe It’s Me‘, then ‘Sabrina, the Teenage Witch’. He then made appearances in a number of TV series including, ‘Maybe It’s Me Sabrina the Teenage Witch’, ‘Hot Properties’, etc.
Walker also featured in the 2007 Lifetime film’ ‘Abducted: Fugitive for Love’ in which he portrayed the charismatic character, Jack Carlson, which was a huge hit among the female viewers. Subsequently, he gathered a large fan base, mostly female. Similarly, he went on to guest star on ‘ER’, CSI: NY’, ‘CSI: Miami’,’ ‘Without a Trace’, ‘Reba’, and ‘The Big Bang Theory’.
In 2012, he starred in his first Hallmark Channel movie, ‘A Bride for Christmas’. He also starred in his next Hallmark movie titled, ‘A Dream of Christmas’ alongside Nikki DeLoach in 2016. Similarly, in 2017, he starred in six more Hallmark feature films including ‘Dashing Through the Snow’, ‘Love Struck Cafe’, ‘Appetite for Love’, ‘Date With Love’, ‘Love on Ice’, and ‘Bridal Wave’.
As of 2019, he has already starred in 19 movies for Hallmark.
