Christine was the marketing manager at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto. She worked there for a long time. Before finally making her way to broadcasting, she worked as a host in the first in-arena for the Toronto Maple Leafs, an ice-hockey team.

After the Canadian sports channel was started in the year 1998, she did her first network TV job. She worked with Rogers Sportsnet and spent a decade of her life as a hockey features reporter and also hosted ‘Showtime with Chris Simpson’ which used to telecast sports stories and entertainment.

Moreover, she has also been involved as a rink-side reporter for the N.H.L. broadcasts with ESPN, ABC, and Versus in the US.

Simpson also hosted the NHL Network in the US and Canada in a show that dealt with only the captain of the teams. In addition, she also became the host of ‘Center Ice with Chris Simpson’ during the Winter Olympics of 2010 at Molson Canadian Hockey House.
