David Blaine and the case of rape of a British model
David Blaine was accused of having raped a British model named Natasha Prince in 2004. He denied it and had said that it was a case of ‘consensual sex’. Natasha had filed a complaint at the Kensington Police Station and Scotland Yard Police had begun an investigation into it. David was interviewed and the decision was reached by the police that no further action was needed. Natasha had started modeling at age 15 and now works as an art dealer in NY.
David Blaine and his early life
David Blaine was born on 4 April 1973 as David Blaine White and his place of birth was Brooklyn in New York. He is now 45 years of age and his parents are Patrice Maureen White who died in 1995 and William Perez. His father was a Vietnam War veteran. His mother was a school teacher. David holds an American nationality and has a mixed ethnicity. His father was Puerto Rican and Italian. His mother was of Jewish and Russian descent. David was 4 when he was highly impressed by the show of a magician which he saw in the subway.
David was raised in Brooklyn by a single mother. He has studied at many schools in Brooklyn. When David was 10, his mother remarried and his stepfather was John Bukalo. The family migrated to Little Falls in New Jersey. Here, David went to the Passaic Valley Regional High School and at age of 17, David made the move to Manhattan in New York. He has a half-brother named Michael.

David Blaine and his magic career
David was offered a show on ABC TV named David Blaine: Street Magic. David had said at that time:
“I’d like to bring magic back to the place it used to be 100 years ago.”‘
He also did another show on TV called The Magic Man where he can be seen traveling across the country and entertaining people with his magic. USA Today labeled Blaine as the hottest man in magic.
In 1999, he did a stunt called Buried Alive in which he was buried for 7 days underground and his only communication was a hand buzzer which he could ring in case of any difficulty and a crew nearby was on 24 hours alert. In those 7 days, he did not eat and had just a minimal amount of water per day.
His second stunt was called Frozen in Time and he was inside a big slab of water for 63 hours, 42 minutes, and 15 seconds. David, however, admitted that it was an extremely difficult stunt and he would never redo it. In 2002, he did the feat called Vertigo and stayed atop a 100 feet tall pillar for 35 hours. He has also penned some books. He also did the Above the Below. In 2006, he attempted the Drowning Alive stunt which lasted for a week. He also tried the Revolution Stunt.
David has a number of more daring feats to his credit. His name is in the Guinness Book of World Records.
David Blaine and his personal life-wife, children, girlfriend
David is not married but he has a daughter named Dessa with French model Alizee Guinochet. The couple was to marry but in 2015 there was news of separation which could not be confirmed. David is very secretive about his personal life, hence not much is known whether he has any relationship now.
