Drake Hogestyn started his acting career by entering into a talent search held by Columbia Pictures, in which 75000 contestants had participated. Luckily, he was one of 30 participants chosen to get selected. After that, he got his first role in the series ‘Seven Brides for Seven Brothers’. After some other minor roles, he landed his breakthrough role in the popular soap opera ‘Days in Our Lives’ in 1986. This role changed his career. He became a well-known and respected actor after landing this role.
He quickly established himself as a fan favorite and enjoyed many pairings. His most popular pairing was with longtime co-star Deidre Hall. In 1998, while starring on Days, Shelley Long enlisted Drake to join her for the upcoming series ‘Kelly, Kelly’.
