Jeff’s career began right after leaving school. He worked for Hartlepool Mail for four years. Afterward, he joined Radio Tees as a reporter for Middlesbrough F.C. in the 70s. In the next decade, he worked as a sports presenter for LBC radio’s program, Sportswatch. After leaving his job at Sportswatch, he joined the BBC. For BBC 2, he covered the Olympics held in L.A. and Seoul in the 80s.
Following that, he also worked for several other networks including Eurosport, TV-am, Channel 4, and others.
