Joanna Gaines is the co-host of the HGTV show called Fixer Upper along with her husband Chip Gaines. The couple buys old homes, fix and remodel them and then sell them for a profit. Joanna and her husband Chip Gaines met at Baylor University from where both graduated. It was fate that brought them together. They got married on 31 May 2003 and since both of similar interests, their married life was a success. They soon began work together and opened shops dealing with a similar aspect of their work.
They also have five children; son Drake who was born in 2005 and is the eldest child, daughter Ella born in 2006, son Duke born in 2008, daughter Emmie born in 2010, and son Crew who was born in June 2018.

Joanna was born in Kansas, the USA as Joanna Lea Stevens. This was on 19 April 1978 and her age is 40 years. Her parents are Nan and Jerry Stevens. She has 2 sisters; Teresa Criswell and Mary Kay McCall. Her upbringing was in Texas. She has an American nationality and her mother is Korean while her father is half-German and half-Lebanese. Joanna thus has a mixed ethnicity. There are no details about her high school, but it is known that she had studied at Baylor University and obtained her graduate degree in Communications.

Joanna had interned in New York. Joanna and Chip after their wedding purchased, fixed, and renovated their first building together. Chip has a great understanding of the real estate and Joanna has the eye for design and creativity. Hence the houses they remodel are unique and liked by people. Joanna soon opened an accessory store called Magnolia. They soon grew their business and started a real estate company, construction company, design firm, and also a residential subdivision which was called Magnolia Villas. They assist their clients in making their dreams a reality. Their aim is to give customer satisfaction and make Waco which is their home for more than a decade a beautiful place to live in.
Since 2013, they also had their own show on HGTV called Fixer Upper and this reality show used to show the various aspects of their business and the challenges they face in dealing with it. The show was stopped in 2018. Their net worth is $ 9 million.
Joanna loves farm life and likes to spend her free time cooking some family recipes in her kitchen. She also loves gardening and it seems to give her solace and soothes her soul.

She had taken her 2-month old baby Crew to the doctor for his routine checkup. When she shared a picture of them at the doctor’s chamber, people started giving them anti-vaccination advice. One said:
“Vaccines are dangerous and if people love their kids they won’t inject them with these poisons!”
Another said that it could lead to autism, SIDS, asthma, eczema, and allergies. There were some who counteracted these statements and stated that she has not mentioned that she has taken the baby for vaccination. Then why the hue and cry?
