Then he was transferred to New Jersey Nets on 10 September 2010. On 15 December 2010, he was traded to Los Angeles Lakers and he played for the team till 2011 after which he officially retired from his career as a professional basketball player of NBA after a 16-year glorious career and after playing for 12 different teams.
