Stahl started her long journalism career as a producer and on-air reporter for Boston’s original Channel 5, ‘WHDH-TV’. Later, in 1972, she decided to join CBS News and eventually became a correspondent two years later, in 1974.
Her fame rose after she covered the ‘Watergate‘ event. It was about some burglars whom no other reporters were able to recognize. Stahl recognized and was even able to get pictures of the burglars.
In addition, Stahl was the correspondent of the White House during the presidential period of American presidents Ronald Reagan, Jimmy Carter, and George H. W. Bush. Moreover, Leslie also worked for the TV program, ‘Face the Nation’ from 1983 to 1991 as a moderator. Furthermore, Leslie also hosted the TV show titled ‘48 Hours Investigates’ for a couple of years from 2002 to 2004.
In 2014, she appeared in the NBC series, ‘Frasier‘. Moreover, she has also featured in a documentary about climate change, ‘Years of Living Dangerously in 2014’.
