Samantha Cerio is an American gymnast and Aerospace Engineer Student from Huntersville, North Carolina. Her gymnastics career ended after she faced an unfortunate and gruesome injury at an NCAA gymnastics competition. Both her knees were dislocated and she also had multiple torn ligaments.

Samantha Cerio was a member of the Auburn Gymnastics team. She earned All-SEC awards between 2017 and 2018, and before that she was also on the All-SEC freshman team in 2016.
Samantha is also a two-time Region 8 level and 10 All-Around Champion who has been into National Qualifier four times and ended up in a top 10 AA. In 2015 she was a JO National Bars champion and also a 2 time Region 8 level and 10 All-Around Champion.

She was one of the best gymnasts of Auburn and had a very bright future. Unfortunately, that injury at NCAA Regionals forced her to retire from the sport forever. |
